Martyr Date: 12/06/2023

Sanaa’s friend says: The martyr “Sanaa Al-Rais” was my closest friend and like a sister to me. Sanaa was not just a number on the list of martyrs, but the heart and soul of her family. It had not been a full year since Sanaa and Jihad’s marriage, which was filled with love and passion. They had dreams of building a family together.
What Sanaa feared the most was “loss”, which is why she was so devoted to her family. Sanaa always left a beautiful mark behind her. She left without returning, leaving behind her small child “Ayman” who was not even 10 months old, now an orphan. She did not get to see anything, not even her child in preschool attire.
On December 6th, Sanaa and Jihad went out to purchase some clothes for their son Ayman. They were martyred in a Zionist bombardment. After a month, they were able to recover Jihad’s body, but to this day, they have not been able to recover Sanaa’s body from under the rubble. Their untimely deaths at such a young age are heartbreaking. I cannot find the words to describe the bitterness of losing them. I will not forgive the death of their dreams and the incompletion of their family.
