Nada was a student pharmacist from Gaza City who frequently spoke of her desire to go for an umrah, or pilgrimage to Mecca.

While Nada had planned to begin her career as a pharmacist after graduating, her love for learning and extensive pharmaceutical knowledge pushed her to apply for scholarships abroad during her last semester at university, according to a friend from Gaza who spoke to Haaretz.

She was killed on November 21 in an airstrike along with her father, Hael Al-Dahshan, and her mother, Hiba Al-Khudari, according to her sister, Nadine.

Nada’s laugh will be sorely missed, her friend said.
