The infant, Sabreen Al-Ruh, Shukri Al-Sheikh, who was saved by a Caesarean section minutes before her mother, who was injured in an Israeli bombing, was martyred in a hospital in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, according to what her uncle said on Friday.
Rami Al-Sheikh, Sabreen’s uncle, said, “I received a call from the administration of the Emirati Hospital in Rafah today, Friday, telling me that her condition had worsened and they were unable to save her until she died to join her family.”
He added, “I went and performed all the procedures in the hospital, and brought the child’s body home, opened the grave of her father, Shukri, and buried her in her father’s grave, in a cemetery in Rafah.”
