Ziad, also known as Abu Tariq lived in Gaza. Due to the blockade on Gaza prior to Tawfan Al Aqsa, Ziad worked many odd jobs so he can support his family and keep them afloat. He always described the blockade as a form of “denying Palestinians a life of dignity”.
When the genocided started, he was at home with his wife, children, daughter-in-law, his grandkids (4 girls), his two nephews, and his sister-in-law.
On October 27th, 2023, a hellfire missile bombed the house where Ziad, his immediate family, and some of his extended family were staying and turned it into rubble- killing Ziad along with his family.
