Eman was a 45-year-old woman living in the Occupied West Bank. She was a mother of six.
Jaradat was in critical condition and had just had a stroke. Her family took her to a nearby health center, but the center did not have all the medical equipment needed and they transferred her to the nearest hospital in Hebron city. Unfortunately, that means multiple checkpoints.
The Zionist entity denied her passage through the checkpoint, despite the family and doctor’s attempts to explain that it’s a medical emergency. The ambulance, however, was not allowed to go through the checkpoint.
The ambulance waited over an hour with soldiers denying it’s entry. Eventually, it was let through, however, Eman arrived at the hospital dead. I was unable to find a picture of Eman prior to her death, but have attached a video of her family speaking about her and the condition Palestinians are being put through.
The Zionist entity has added 14 new checkpoints in the past week, making the total check points in the West Bank 898.
