Below is the story of Abdul Raouf. His friends used to call him Abood, and he was martyred in his late twenties.

Abood’s dream growing up was to become a doctor. His mom used to always encourage his dream and she would even buy him little toy doctor sets to play with.

When he finished high school, his dream became a reality. He studied general medicine at the Islamic University. All his colleagues said he was an extremely hard worker and they would say he’s the “kind one”, because of his infectious smile that never left his face.

When the genocide began, he and his family listened to the Zionist entity and went south for safety.

Unfortunately, as we all know, no where is safe in Gaza.

Abood and his family were killed when the Zionist entity targeted resident homes on 08/21/2024.
