Martyr Date: 12/06/2023

Age: 26 years old

“The last message I received from my husband, Mohammed.”

My husband, the martyr Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Sharfa, was 26 years old.

He was the best husband, kind-hearted, affectionate, and loved life.

He would help anyone in need, and he was a beloved person with a good reputation and high integrity at his workplace.

He worked as an accountant at Al-Fahd Restaurant and was happy with his job.

He would spend long hours at work. It had been a year since our marriage, and Allah blessed us with a daughter whom we named “Wateen.” He was very happy to have her because it was his wish to experience the feeling of being a father.

He was eagerly looking forward to hearing the word “Daddy” from Wateen because he had grown up as an orphan, deprived of hearing that word. And now, he was deprived of it once again, as he attained martyrdom before hearing it from his beautiful daughter.

Mohammed had many dreams. He dreamed of buying a car and creating a beautiful room for our daughter, Wateen. We always planned to build our future together. It was just one day before his martyrdom.

He hugged Wateen tightly, filled with longing and anticipation, as if he was bidding her farewell and trying to satisfy himself with her presence. He told me at that moment that he felt like he was the next martyr. He took a picture with Wateen, and it became our farewell photo.

On December 6th, Mohammed hurried out of the house to charge the battery. On his way, he saw an ambulance that had stopped working and needed repair. He stopped to help fix the ambulance and, while assisting in transporting the injured to the hospital, he attained martyrdom.
